Describe Image is the fourth task type of the PTE Speaking exam. Here’s how it works. ·          The page is divided into two parts: on the left side is the image you need to describe and on the right side is a recording box. ·          The recording box displays a countdown status once you enter the page. You have 25 seconds to analyze the image and prepare your description. ·          Once the countdown ends, you’ll hear a short tone, and the microphone automatically opens.
